Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff that took the time to organise the show.

Being my first show and also my first social camping experience and I can honestly say I had a top time. Was great to meet everyone and though I cant remember everyone I met, it was a top weekend.

I dont think most people realise how much effort goes into setting this up but having been privvy to the threads on setting it up etc and then having been theres, I'm thoroughly impressed and appreciative. I even half-promise to make myself more useful next year =D rather than just being a forum moderator =D

tbh a sober reflection on my weekend and lack of stress from it, meant I had to thank the guys for what theyve done....especially - Mark, Jon & Liz (told you it was brown nosing too hahaha)

and Panda. He did a lot of drinking so those guys didn't have to.

now slow down there dean, you may not take offence to me but your reply is somewhat of a pisstake!! this thread is me saying thank you to the staff that put all there time and effort into running it and though I may not have been actively involved, I would have happily helped had someone asked me, as per friday afternoon. I even did offer to take over gate duty from Jon on sunday so that he could wash his car ready for show and shine as I had done mine, yet he chose to decline.

I wouldnt say i was miserable at all this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed meeting people and had anyone had a problem with me, then they were welcome to say something.

My whole reason for being there was the fact i had not had a holiday in 15 years and I needed a break from work. Unlike most people I run my own business and spend all day, every week organising events, classes, dealing with business related problems....so yes i didnt actively seek to help out so much as that wasnt what i was therefore, i at least made the effort with what little money i do have to make the trip and to also stay the full weekend.

I'm sorry if I've rattled on here but your reply has annoyed me a little!!!

anyway, thanks again to the guys that ran the weekend, if anyone has a problem with my attitude then feel free to get in touch

You know you rubbed me up the wrong way a on sat night but that was all sorted out the next day so I've got no problems. A combination of drink and possibly taking you the wrong way probably didn't help that situation at all mind. You apologized to me if you had offended me and that is a lot more than most would of done

I drove in and there was nobody on the gate to meet and greet, no can of beer as I entered and an empty marquee costing however much. dispite this, I had a great weekend and I can now put faces to names-which is always a bonus.

We've always had the marquee, sods law the year we don't it'll piss it down

We welcome suggestion for what to do with it though, we've managed to procue a DJ for next year (after how many years of trying )
