Jon, you were going to kill yourself, jacking a car on grass with a trolley jack and crawling under it is exceptionally dangerous and pikey, you had to be informed of this fact. I apologise it may have been in the form of heckling. I did text Guy regarding this but he thought it was amusing.

How about a communial sleeping area for people that forgot/couldnt be arsed to bring a tent? Sleeping alone in your car is very cold and uncomfortable

we went just for the sunday, got lost on site but final found the polo show part and err we didnt know where to park or what was going on.

I went with my bf who is a ford nut. on 15th May at Huntingdon Racecourse he took me to Fiesta in the Park and there was alot there and well worth the £8 to get in. things i remember that i liked:

Traded stands - stickers, cleaning products, ford tuners, t shirts and jumpers and lost more

Mix of fords - they had asked the cossy and other ford clubs along

PA and main tent that had a very welcoming feel where you could entre events and get club stickers and membership and advice

Tug of war was fun

I'm not saying you should do all this but I found that everyone was either hung over or very clicky

I think most people were hung over to be honest but I think everyone was welcoming....I'm guessing you were the lass with the mk4 loon that was harrassing the lad with the red one??? if so you had me in stitches =D hahahaha

also youve got to remember that this was the "polo show" not a vw show so there wont be as much and it wont be as big as some of the other shows as were only catering to one type of car unlike the other shows.

I think trader stands will always be awkward as big companys will realise there just wont be the money in spending a weekend...though maybe approaching cleaning companys may be an idea as everyone always seems to want to buy cleaning stuff and maybe our own traders could set up shop for the weekend =D

I did for a few hours, and even though i was shattered, the journey home was suprisingly alright. The car was behaving itself too which was a bonus, think it was down to the fact i hadnt filled it up with diesel contaminated petrol

Rich - my car need such a clean because i had a coolant explosion a week ago and i spent my time trying to get to the show fitting a new rad, fan and intercooler pipes rather than cleaning it. it wasnt cleaned to get the best shot at the show and shine- it was to give people the chance to take better photos of it. whats the point in having a tidy engine if its covered in brown shite. i very almost didnt bother putting it into the show and shine and leaving the bonnet shut- that would have been dissapointing to everyone who wanted to see it.
