Alpine White MK3 Coupe GT

Featured Replies

Hi Guys !

I bought originally a blue GT off ebay which came with ats classics and a good exhaust etc for £360, engine is sweet with only 88000 on clock but unfortunatly the chassis was cracked :( and after a few quotes the chassis would be bomb to fix !. My mate then contacted me (VW+SWFC) and let me know of a white GT Shell in Kent which later i bought !!!

From then the blue GT Was stripped completly and then transferred to the white shell in 3 weeks!!!

along the way i decided to replace almost everypart possible on the engine such as clutch, seals gaskets etc and aswell as havin a Gearbox recon which set me back £150 but is now smooth as a babys arse !!!!.

My first run was to northampton for this years POLO Show which i was a little nervous about as i basically finished the car tuesday MOT wednesday Insured and taxed thursday and then on route on friday to polo show ! but i have to say the polo smashed it great exhaust on it too !! Powerflow backbox removed silencers and decat which passed emissions on MOT :). I didnt manage to get the ats classics on for the show as i was skint and they needed new tyres !!! but that will be sorted next pay day, so i just rolled on BBS Ra's :).

MODS so far:

1.PowerFlow System ! with Decat

2.Lowered on Koni 60/40

3.Chrome handles covers

4.G40 seats

5.Leather rear seats

6.K&N panel Filter

7. Ripspeed headunit with 6x9 in back

8. MOMO Steering Wheel

9.BBS RA and 7J ATS Classics

10.JL audio Sub

Here are a few pics !!!! Still gots loads to do but hope i can get some suggestions off you guys of possible things to do! (Pics of my blue i broke first for the white shell)

Good to meet you at the show by the way, will have to drop by sometime seen as though your pretty close.

By the way, did we get the "poloshow2011" stickers on entry or did you buy it?

The momo centre is the horn and a horn is needed to definetly pass an MOT ! :)

But have had the car tuned at a place with my mate VW+SWFC:) did well passed all diganotics and was tweaked here and there and now is better on fuel, only thing it needed was a rotor arm for the distrubutor. :)
