Comments: Bought this from marcusmatch last monthThis car is really really mechanically sound and has had lots and lots of money spent on it as reciepts prove,lots of service history and paperwork which was good,new Lamnda,clutch cable,water temp sensor all fitted before i bought it.It has the Usual Genesis nice interior

There was some issues rusty drivers door ( bugger to find any indian red panels and especially a drivers door, needed both mirrors replacing,one sunroof lifter thing needs replacing. there is some lacker peel. drivers seat does not fold over as internal cable not attached. This is my second car after i spent too much on my 6n and it just needed more money and work than it was worth so i got a mk3 polo as I've always liked them ( cant even drive yet lol )

Plans are to get it looking pretty standard nothing over the top as it is my first car ill be driving and to be honest i dont want a show winner yet..so just building up my ncb.

As you can see alot of rust on the drivers door! luckily its just on the door and on the actual body its actually just dirt!

Last week got a blank key from vw and got it cut,got some touch up paint, got the seat tilt cables as my tilts didnt work

Went up to bradford today to collect some goodies for the polo,thanks to marcuscoupe great lad

Got these:

G40 rears

Smoked headlights and indys

Drivers door (wrong colour but gonna get resprayed)

Dashboard ( my glove compartment was broke and it was looking old)

Rear Bumper to replace that horrible cut from when the towbar was fitted lol

Black temp switch Coolant switch both of these were playing up

Battery clamp needed mine was rusty but battery tray wasnt :)

Seat winder broke mine while replacing the seat tilt cable :/

bbs ra's :) gonna have them refurbed but i quite lik the steelies grip and they have loads of tread left! so when i do drive proberly gonna use them as my winters and bbs in the summer :)

Also went to the scrappy after being told they had a indian red door,travelled one and a half hour to got to this scrappy the same day i enquired to have me being told it had been scrapped, after a bit of snooping around i actually found it not scrapped like they said it was but the doors were taken off so that was kind of annoying, got wing mirrors new doorcards mine were old and had turned a greeny colour lol

got the g40s fitted literly done the last light then it really pissed it down so had to come in

got a steel blue coloured door gonna get it resprayed to indian red gave up on the search for one lol

and these are them they need a refurb anyone know where i can get them done in surrey/berkshire earlier or dont mind sending off gonna get them in gun metal grey i think not in a rush though

Hahaha you know it! 60mph Is what I've got out of it pretty impressive it's a 50cc

67 haha. I've had my pistons bored though and have a racing clutch and shit loads of other shitty stuff I wish I never spent my money on haha

good stuff man, this color has grown on me soo much.

Haha yeah I've spent shit loads on it gave it a full engine rebuilb and exhaust that cost me £180 and loads and loads of performance parts LOL

And cheers slim :) it's grown on me aswell! Just a bitch to match body parts lol

Haha same I have aswell and paid about that for an exhaust aswell, stupid think is I can't justify putting a full new exhaust but I could putting it on a 50cc moped?

Yeah I also love the colour

i know what you mean but it adds speed and its cheap enough at £15 per year tax and just everything about it is cheap...cant wait to drive the polo though

Removed the tow bar and fitted the new tow bar,add gt strips and added bumper care, teh tape makes a differnce i think

Done a few bits today

Done the battery tray :)

went to fit my dash old one was bodged

Dash out

Fitted the speakers to the new dash as they wernt on properly

A surprise after taking the dash out

Quick trip down to halfords got a fibre glass kit..

Then as it had no cig lighter i got one with the dash and solderd it into the current loom then had to go to work so this will continue tomoz

Got some winter wheels off here as I'm bored of steels and ra's are getting refurbed :) also got some 60/40 springs nearly brand new for 25 so happy with them will get them fitted when i aint got college and work!

Also a few of you were interested in my ped got a little pic of it for you :)

so youre the cheeky fuck that got the wheels before i could pick them up :p

Not as bad a first guessed I've had a look under and its seems the driveshaft bolts were not tightened properly ( all of them loose!!!!!!) and the bolt has sheered off making a hole in the sump :) so no new engine but its seeming a pig to get off

Sump gasket

exhaust clamp

breather pipe

and exhaust manifold to down pipe gasket

sump and driveshaft off now just waiting for parts

to show the true damage that the bolt caused to the sump! luckily the oil went on the exhaust and smoked overwise i would of never noticed it and it would of seized!!
