Thanks mate!

cheers for your kind words dude, lovin your yellow fogs!

i really like the ras, take a while to clean but well worth it.

i got my protectors off of ebay a while back and they were £7 but I'm not sure you can get them there now!

you should get ras and then do white/cream/beige sort of colour with polished lip! that would be sick!

What would look sick is if you sprayed the front splitter the same colour as your car like got it done professionally

Looking good man. Its the simple things that make these 100000x better.

thanks mate, your totally right, I cant see the point in spending a bucket loads on little cars like these when with a couple of key items you can transform them so cheap!

i wanna try and get my polo up to your standards ;)

Is there a name for them wheels that you have on? Just that I'm after some for a mate?

the mud flaps were already on the car when I bought it but again your best bet would be ebay, If not then go to VW I doubt they will be that expensive!!

Finally thanks for the kind words!!

They are just bog standard polo 16v wheels, they also did them on the Lupo 16v, Have a look on the classifieds on here (or wheel whores, edition38 etc etc) they will be easy to find and cheap!!!

UPDATE TIMES

Been far too long since an update, apoligies its not a desperatly excitied one....

- Got a new front indicator because the old one was letting in moisture and steaming up.

- Bought some Schmidts, the tyres were too big so bought brand new tyres, fitted on the car nice, then straight away decided I didnt want them (and I couldnt realllllly afford them), they are now for sale on this very forum!!

- Having a bit of a problem with it using alot of coolant, again there is a thread on here about it but answers on a postcard would be appreciated!

Due a good service after christmas, will probally get the cam belt done for piece of mind as the only 'proof' of it ever having been done is a sticker on the cover (no documents). Brakes will need doing too.

Other than that just been trying to survive the winter/potholes/grit/wet and Ignorant people who open their car doors onto your car in carparks!!

Heres a few pics of the schmidts anyway. if anyone wants them the 07756307369 and I can give you the details.... I'm doing them cheap!!

Decided to just keep her on the 16v wheels for now, I've suddenly become very fond of them and they are good solid all year wheels!!

yeh they can be a bit of a fiddle. there is one screw either side (torx bit) and they its clipped on underneath. work your way along prising them off without snapping any plastic! good luck!

Last week I ran into my old 6n2 in town as well....

IMG_2126.jpg

Today I fixed a few little niggles, then cleaned and re-greased my Weitecs. I also wound them down a bit more, seeing how low I can go whilst retaining height that is suitable for everyday.
