Not much has really happened lately, travelled up to edition 38 which was an awesome weekend! Only thing i've actually done to the polo recently is put on a momo team 280 that I got from Scott's Polo and also added wind deflectors.

But yeah that's boring stuff, anyway, pictures!

Night before edition:

When we arrived! nice 5 hour drive later.

Travelled up in our PlymouthCityDubs and DevonDubShack Convoy! Radio's provided great fun

Most recent pictures taken was from the PlymouthCityDubs last summer meet!

Then the momo arrived so promptly fitted that. Scott had it all blacked out to match the blue/black theme in his polo. Ran it like that for a day or two then decided to clean it all up.

Still haven't bought a roof...mainly because of that ^ lol.

But yeah, forgot to put tape on the roof the other week and after two days of heavy rainfall, both floorpans were soaked. Thankfully I still don't have any carpet in!

And some other random pictures i've dug up.

Anyway, the 14"s are still up for sale! Got the 15's being refurbed atm, however being back at uni the progress is slow :(

Next plans for the polo are:

-Sort the shitty roof

-Look for nicer wheels

-Sort the bodywork

yo man just read through the whole thread and i love it! i just got an open air myself and guess what! same problem haha mine doesnt leak nearly as bad though lol just a little patch on the passenger side, have u fitted the roof yet? be interested to see how hard it is lol. another thing bud whats the 280 like? cus I've heard it feels too small considering getting somegthiing similar but not 100% sure :-)

Haha cheers dude. Yeah, parking on a downward slope and heavy rain isn't always the best combination. Nah not yet, removed it out of a polo though. Dead simple to remove and fit the whole thing. Actually fitting a new top bit is going to be the bitch And 280mm is bleddy small, but very fun to drive with! I like it anyway haha.

Yeah so the roof's getting worse lol..

Made a list of parts to order from vw for the roof and going to order an aftermarket replacement top cover this week :)

Wheels are currently still for sale. Will probably take them off this week or next.

So I sold the BBS' today.

What they were on. Had more threads than I thought left.

Had to raise it from 5/6 threads to 20 threads at the front too as it was on the arch and rubbing stupid amounts. Only had a short time so couldn't be bothered to raise the rear. Reverse Raking like a right mother f.

Howeverrrr, bought some 165/50/15 bridgestone potenzas for £184.60 delivered and the 15's should be done next week

Also, got a nice list of roof parts that I should be getting soon from VW. So the roof rebuild begins!

On the update side. Tyres arrived the other day! Also my back box fell off lol. Sounds like shit. Took it to my local garage and had a look. Really it needs to be replaced from cat-back :(

/excuse for exhaust. - Howeverrr....moneyyy....

So will see how things progress!

Also should be picking up paint tomorrow, so can crack on with finishing off the wheels!

I've gone with the genuine one for now ( :( ) Would have been £205+vat if I didn't get it at trade :/ lol. Exhaust's quote was £330 for a cat-back...plus then I was tempted to get a manifold etc etc and tbh I should really use that money and fix the bleddy roof lol. So nice genuine exhaust shall be arriving on thursday :)
