New to the forum and the whole VW scene, just after some advice on how to find out what size front discs I need, as there seems to be a few different ones available.

Its a 2007 polo Tdi SE 80, i've looked in the service book but there isnt any info there?

Also, looking at a item on ebay it says there are 2 types of pads aswell 'ATE' and 'LUCAS' - I have no idea what this means, so any help would be appreciated.

if you go onto euro car parts website and put in the reg no it will come up with the correct items

Lucas and ATE are brands of parts.

Giving sizes from 256mm to 312mm..

And thanks for clearing up the pads - I have heard of lucas oils, just wanted to be sure though!

Cheers mate - I'm pretty sure they're that size too! Certainly not going to be the 312mm under 14's!
