First off thanks a lot for your comments and input mate i appreciate it. As for the header tank its a good idea but there are a few things stopping me:

1. I've just put the blue silicone hose kit on and it wouldn't reach ha

2. The stand alone ECU wiring runs under the near side scuttle which could cause a problem if it over heats (fingers crossed it won't

3. And i like the look of the polished tanks ha

The relocated washer bottle sounds a really good idea though, i hate the look of it and would be a simple procedure.

I think youve made me see light with the getting safety jobs done first too, i need my wheels banding desperately before the bonnet gets done.

On my in head jobs list is:

044 fuel pump fitted

Polished header tank

Polished shocker top caps

Polished battery cover

Relocate the washer bottle

Banded steels

Tyres

Smoothed sills)

White leather inserted into the centres of the seats and door cards

Bonnet - smoothed washer jets and painted back white

Spare wheel well cut out and plated over so i can get my exhaust poking out of the middle

Rear bumper smoothed (towing eye and exhaust cut out)

My audi handles need fitting too

I think that would then see my project finished. Until i find something else to spend my money on ha

Extended bonnet :( :(

Please dont extend the bonnet. The conversion is insane! I say just rattle can the bonnet matt black for now, my friend rattled a load of pannels on his S13 and it looked harder then Mike Tyson-

I think my decisions been swayed agen ha, I've just sat and studied the extended bonnet on my old polo and my polo as it stands and have come to a decision to just smooth the washer jets and re-paint it white. I'm glad you've all brought it to my attention before i went ahead with it, thats what forums are for ha. cheers

Out of interest, what AFR figures are you aiming for in various conditions?

Like full throttle on max boost? Cruising along etc?

depending on boost , will be nice 14.7 15.5 cruise , for mpg and 11,5afr in boost

Polished inlet hehe, I think you've done a smashing job to get it in there! Hats off to mr adaptorman yet again!

Just an idea with the header tank maybe move it into the scuttle on the nearside, battery move backwards where the washer bottle is and washer bottle in the boot where the medi kit should be. Connect the rear wiper squirter to the bottle and where it should go to the front connect that to the washers at the front ;)

Most important thing is that its back in 1 piece, odd jobs can be done again! Also the bonnet.... After spending on all that the first thing I'd do would be wheels and tyres to stop yourself from dieing lol. Bonnets cosmetic! Can be changed easily when funds allow and isent crucial

making some alloys washer.header tanks woundnt be a problem if he wankts me to make them

whats this regarding , as were on about vr6 engines not others , as vr6 compression is 10.1 std , u can drop 7.1/8.5 or 9.1 in options ?if u meant afr 7.5.1 then the engine wouldnt evern pull :-D can u explain what u mean?

Haha cheers mate, I'm gunna get the 16" steels I've got banded ASAP, then ill need some good tyres and an lsd for the box. If i still cant get power down i might have to look into getting 4WD fitted.

If that last bit is intended for me I mean I need a tank that's around 50 litres and rectangle. 4 tabs, one on each corner. 2 8mm pipes on it at the bottom, a 2" pipe out the top for fuel filling pipe and a hole for a sender in the top. Size wise is 2 25 litre jerry cans next to each other. Need it for the back of the metro :-D

I'll Pm you if its easier :-)

Its adaptorman thats the handyman ha, if he doesn't reply to you tonight ill tell him to read your post tomorrow mate as ill be seeing him in morning

You can't see the stitching on the pic but its got black stitching across it, looks great compared to the old grey sh it. also a few pics of the smooth sills in primer and how the bonnet looks with a bit of filler in it.
