if you are fitting r32 id go for 312mm front brakes with modifyed hub adaptors , 280s would be ok , if u upgrade the rears , to vented with a brake bias, ps if u plan to turbo that r36 , please please remember to change timing chaine bolt as there weak and snap

yes i can but , for the price u can buy them form ebay for, isnt really worth maing them

I upgrade mine to tarox 6pot 312 front and 256 rear.

I just curious what you have for turbo ?

i imagine G60 suffer brake fade heat up and restrict driving abilitys?

I might have to look into some bigger brakes, there fine for now though, no brake fade or anything. Should be getting my door cards back from the good lady whos doing them next week and also my rear bench maybe complete.

Haha, i know but i don't see them as an essential, the brakes are fine that are on at the minute, the seats are getting leathered for free aswell lol. The most important thing i need is the wheels banding to get some traction.

IMO with brakes, you could have like hundreds of horse power, but you're still gonnabe slowing down from the sake speeds, unless you drive like a dick. Ok you have more weight with the vr lump but it's also over the front end so it might help you slow.

Don't get me wrong upgrading is a good idea, but tbh I'd imagine the 280's are ok at the minute unless he's spanking it round or doing track days etc

280's on turbo would be like 239's on na.

I could drive 100's of miles without using anything but the handbrake, and still be alive. He's only gonna have issues if he's properly going for it and heavy braking etc, he's also said he'll upgrade in time, relax!

Just got back from the weekend away, its rediculously fast ha, I'm not one of these thats gone from a 1.0 to a 2.8 either ha, I've had evos and scoobys and that and nothing compares lol. Really struggling for traction though, car spins tyres in 3rd in the dry. Wide wheels are now a necessity.

Yeah i agree with you harris.racing, the brakes are only going to be tested when I'm going really fast and need to stop suddenly, (which i won't be doing). the rest of the time i can brake gradually as normal and keep them at a safe temp. The brakes will be getting upgraded eventually though yes.

Love that Panda is unfortunatly no longer at the freedom of the world. He is unfortunatly locked in a zoo in scotland......

On my in head jobs list is:

044 fuel pump fitted

Polished header tank

Polished shocker top caps

Polished battery cover

Relocate the washer bottle

Banded steels

Tyres

Smoothed sills)

White leather inserted into the centres of the front seats

Door cards re=trimmed in white leather

White leather inserted into the centres of the rear seats

Bonnet - smoothed washer jets and painted back white

Spare wheel well cut out and plated over so i can get my exhaust poking out of the middle

Rear bumper smoothed (towing eye and exhaust cut out)

My audi handles need fitting too
