Cheers lads appreciate the comments, the maskings not off yet its drying over night so i can get no more pics until the morning. I'm going to give it a good exterior valet in the morning though and get some daytime shots up.

Its had the wings welded into the sill at the front, there is a seem half way down the sill thats been welded too and the arrows have just been fibreglassed.

I might have a spare set of 4 pot brakes... Although they're not straight bolt on, so dunno if you'll manage? Lmao, if only there was an adaptor man of some sorts, I'm sure he could knock up the bracketry required... :)

Aha, 4 pot brakes sound good ha, what discs would i need to run with them? is there any big enough in 4 stud fitment? and 1 final and most important question ha, what kind of price are they?

£225 for the pair? They're Porsche Brembo 4 pots. I'd run 280mm disks, same setup as I've got, mine are pretty impressive.

Hats off to yourself and Adaptorman. This really does look like it's having the works. Your enthusiasm with the project is admirable.

If i was going to modify a 6N I think this would be it.. nothing else seems worth owning a 6N for. But this I like, a wolf in sheeps clothing!

Okay ill have a word with "adaptorman" to see if he thinks he could knock a couple of adaptor plates up and ill get back to you, they would be a near future investment though as I've got it booked in for other jobs that need paying for first ha.

Cheers for the comments lads, it makes me even more enthusiastic hearing stuff like this, thanks

Got to ask, what do you do for a living??? you seem to have endless supplies of money lol

good to see that your putting everything into this car, theres just something about the exterior that just doesnt do it for me, might be that its white but i cant pin it down....but absolutely love the work gone into it and can only imagine what the traction is like on those cups lol =D

Finally got the 4th and final wheel through the post today after all these weeks, just need them banding now and some tyres buying. I've decided to go with a safe 7.5j front and 9j rear with 195/40/16 on the front and 205/40/16 on the rears. Falkens are looking like the best tyre option at the minute.

Little update, i should have all of the interior leathered and back with me for the middle of next week, I've bought a couple of stubby wing mirrors and sent them off for paint, the 16" steels should be getting collected in the morning for banding and I've also bought a couple of 205/40/16 falkens for the rears, just need the 195/40's now but can't find any at the right price. The tyre company originally said they could do them for one price and I've returned today to order them and its gone up by £26, it still beats everyone elses price but I'm a bit dubious about paying it now ha, ill get some pics up as and when any parts arrive back with me.

Just got the complete drivers seat back, only the passenger seat and all the door cards left to pick up next week when they're done and i should have a nice clean interior for once. (the back rest is only leaning up against the base of the seat in the pic itll sit better when fixed properly). Got a nice pair of 195/40/16 Falkens for the front. Also the courier came and picked the steels up this morning for banding, the company I've sent them to says i should have them with me towards the back end of next week. fingers crossed theyll fit, i couldn't find anyone who'd fitted them to a 6n to get advice so its all trial and error. Priced some lupo wiper arms n blades up today aswell, 40 each plus titfor which i didnt think was bad.

Wheels banded, ill have them with me wednesday. the company only took 3hrs to do them, unbelievable. Wing mirrors are painted, leather seats finished. A day of building the car back up tomorra. Then its getting sent off for the audi handles welding in and rear bumper fibreglassing so the exhaust pops out of the middle. Might save the unveiling for Elsecar mega meet, anyone going?

I think you're gonna struggle with the rears with 205's!

I thought they'd be a straight fit? 9j with 205/40/16, i know panda has 9j borbets on his with the same tyres but i dont know if hes had any arch work thinking about it, he said the borbets have never scrubbed on his car when he was selling them but that doesn't mean he hasnt had any work done. oh dear ha
