Right, the audi handles are on, they will either be primed and painted tomorrow or wednesday, can't wait. I also got a phone call friday from the compay thats re-mapping it telling me they couldn't get me in Saturday (14th April) as they had a car stuck on the dyno so what with my handles been fitted today i resceduled it for this friday to give me time to have the handles actually working.

I'm in need of some knowledge from someone who has already done the SVA test and can tell me exactly what strengthing pieces need to go in or even a list of what the SVA assesors will be looking for. I know its a well asked question through out forums so I'm not expecting too much info.

Scrap that idea what a farce, phoned my local SVA test station up today and they basically said youve got no fu ckin chance old boy. No paint on the doors today either, might roll into thursday unfortunately.

Still not got the car back from the paint shop yet, should definately be tomorrow though ha. Just bought myself a polo GTI gear knob, a bargain i couldn't resist at £9 posted.

From Ebay mate, just email someone whos breaking one. They all want round about £25 for one though. I found this on as a listing and i was the only bidder. Still havn't got it back from the paint shop ha, i phoned him today though and he said it will be back with me tomorrow afternoon. ill get some pics up.

Just got car back from paint shop as a non runner, problem is its my mates paint shop so i couldn't really complain. brung it back on 4 cylinders. gutted. So now I've got no handle on the drivers side as its been left off so i can gain entry and the passenger side rubs, they do look a lot better though.

Ye it was this. I was just testing the water, see if anyone would pay the money i was asking. turns out no one would which i half expected ha. it will have to stay in the garage now lol.

Projects back on track, finally got the man who can on the case of hooking up my audi handle conversion, took him the best part of an hour to have both doors up and running. Unbelievable lol. what the hell would i do with out ADAPTORMAN????? hes got the pics, ill get him to upload as soon as he can. Next step - some new Rear arches are getting welded on, slammed, and then the boost is getting upped from 8psi.

here you judster ,, hope you are happer now u can open the car without breaking wndows pmsl , its a very easy diy job to modfy theses. few pics.

handles fitted in doors

issiuse is the handles in far so they hit the windows (hernce u carnt open them lol ) so a bit a shaving off the oringal door operners and bt of diy fittng to make the windows and door handles work and bingo , job done

This is my 6n se. i bought the car standard which looked like the one in the pic and have done a few bits and bobs on it up to present.

De wipered the rear. de bump stripped it. Smoothed the boot. tinted the rear 3 windows. fitted black angel eyes. fitted coil overs. tinted the rear lights and indicatlors. designed and fitted the custom number plate holder on the rear lol. bought m3 side skirts and a spoiler yet to be fitted. also have some rh cups with bridgestone tyres which I'm going to put on in morning.

it will then be going to the paint shop for the front bumper smoothing (all 4 outer grills), a recess fiberglassed in the rear bumper to hold square number plate, handles colour coded, wings smoothed, subtle bonnet extension, black roof with removed aerial, smooth filler cap, side skirts and spoiler fitted. when back from the paint shop i will source a vr6 engine and box, get that fitted along with a turbo. just building a replica of my old one minus the wing mirrors ha. cheers jud

ha ha, he is always welcome to turbo my little variant (although it wont be going VRT... yet!)
