Haha, they were done by a lad i know who used to be a painter by trade, hes out of the game now and just does me bits for me from home, he also fitted the audi handles. The rear arches are 6n2 front wings welded onto the rear if you didn't know mate. i payed £450 for them done as youve got to altar the bumper aswell to suit the new wings.

thanks alot man :) might have to see if someone can do it for me.. your is look sick btw man

Thats just the rear ones, would have been £800 for front aswell, saving of £100 ha.

bloody hell, thats a cheap car!

Good luck with the sale - shame to see your selling it

So cheap man, I know what it owes you!

I know ha, i can't believe nobodys emailed me yet, theres double that price in parts. It would be a good breaker if someone had them time/room but it'd be a shame to see it taken apart. It did the 220mile round trip with out missing a beat aswell.

I know I've changed my mind again I'm not selling it, it cost me £14.99 to list it though so leaving it on but as breaking as I'm selliong the interior. I've just booked my self in for a new manifold so that i can fit a bigger turbo in ha, I'm stripping it aswell and getting a light weight front seat, my diet started today aswell lol, theres no point stripping it and been 17 stone. Ill keep it updated as and when stuff starts getting fitted.

Black ibiza GTI carpet £20.

Dude I'd play with your wheels/tyres setup & maybe look into an LSD :)

What times did you run in the end? Never got to catch up after you disappeared

I ran 2 x 15 second runs, I'm gunna jump straight in at the deep end and get a bigger turbo and strip it ha. I thought id do the big drive home before the traffic got busy on sunday so i went at about 1 o clock. It was a very steady drive home which only cost me another £40 in petrol lol. Wheels never span once they gripped really well. I was losing loads of time when it hit the limiter at the end of every gear though, the limiters set at 5500rpm because of the size of the turbo, I'm hoping that with a bigger turbo i can rev higher and not have to reach the limiter.

I bet its frustrating as hell....awesome car and I cant imagine theres much else you could do, nice to see a realistic price tag but glad to see that you are now keeping this =D

For now though I've just started to light weight it.

Stripped the interior, everything's gone, leather: seats, door cards, roof, door pillars, parcel shelf, sun visors and trim. Then I've removed carpets, sub amp, trolley jack, spare wheel, spare oil, spare water. Just ordered a set of these 4.5kg seats which should make a lot of difference as well.

Ordered a perspex panel to fit in place of my heavy glass sunroof. Its going to be a laugh cutting that to shape. Also just found a nice turbo upgrade, going to chuck an offer at it tonight. Its got a power rating between 400bhp and 600bhp so that should be fun.

just spent hour and half reading all this build thread.hats off to you man, excellent

Thank you mate, its comments like that that make it all seem worth while. Cheers

Perspex sunroof fitted today. Great Seal.........NOT. I've got money burning holes in my pockets now I've parked it up for a few week and saved the petrol money, what can i buy ha. Think i better save it for the manifold and re-map infact. My pictures won't show. Ill have to get more tomorrow. Wish these seats would hurry up and come.
