MX5's going to be completely finished Wednesday so ill be back on track with polo. I've booked wheels in for refurbing next week. Just gives me time to get it jacked up in garage and wheels off. Bit of a task in tight garage that its in but should be do-able.

Haha, cheers mate appreciate it. Theres one video pre-turbo on about page 2 or 3 ha. As soon as the new turbo's on and mapped ill get a video up.

Just dropped wheels off at paint shop. Also got the rear flexi's off that run over the axle (in a fashion, they come off in 3 pieces lol) Ill get them made up in braided Friday on my day off.

Got the wheels back, tyres on and flexi's bought. Also waiting on measuring back window so i can buy some perspex to fit. Won't be long now.

Haha, are they any good?

Right got loads done today. All the hoses got fitted, brakes got bled through completely. Couldn't get track rod ends on as we had no heat. Fixed bonnet down.........Nearly ready for towing up to Adaptormans Yard to get moving again.

Also what bhp did you get it to before you took it off the road and what about you fueling issue is that all sorted now??

Ye car still runs I've just bolted the turbo off to fit a new one. It made 290bhp on dyno when it got mapped but i took it down to santa pod for GTi fest and i only ran a 15 so thats when i stripped the c unt and bought a new turbo lol.

I was hoping for 350bhp with the little turbo and it only made 290bhp so I'm going to aim lower this time to save disappointment, guessing about 340bhp.

Turbo upgrade is a GT35R, from what i can see on youtube its the one all the evo's upgrade to. The manifold is in the making ha, I've got to tow my polo up to adaptormans yard so he's got all his welders and laiths and stuff there instead of running too and from my garage taking measurements and tacking things in place.

Theres 2 race techs in sheff, theres one that my mates ownes that know one knows about, its near wickers arches. They're always packed out with work though so i could do with booking it in now for june or something lol.
