mileage is 120k which sounds high but wait til you read the service history !!!

upgrades/extras.....

stubby vw sharan aerial

german pressed metal number plates (originals included)

main beams, foglights and side lights uprated with super white bulbs

headlights have been wrapped in lamin x film (looks good but easily removed)

smoked crystal side repeaters to match headlights

brand new coilover suspension fitted about a fortnight ago, not set too low, can be adjusted to standard height or virtually on the floor !

vw badges painted satin black

rear polo badge removed

black skoda octavia rear view mirror

k&n panel filter

red grille stripe

red mk4 golf anniversary front and rear GTI badges

roof lining dyed dark grey/black

sunvisors, grab handles ect replaced with black items from skoda octavia vrs

plastic pillar trims and tweeter covers painted black

smoked wind delectors

service history.....

full service history in a massive folder mainly vw and the rest from vw specialist garages, the service history includes a low mileage engine fitted in 2008 iirc so the engine has only done around 70k and in the last couple of months (all under 500 miles ago) the car has had......

full cambelt kit including belts, tensioners and waterpump all genuine vw

full service with NGK spark plugs, k&n air filter, vw oil filter and fully synthetic engine oil

reconditoned gearbox with all new syncromeshes, bearings and seals filled using genuine vw gearbox oil (still has 11and a half months or 11500mile warrenty) not some crap found in a scrap yard !

brand new electric window motors and regulators again genuine vw !

brand new windscreen

new tyres all round, yoko's on the back and bf goodridge on the front

There are 3 main failing that the gti's have, if you're looking for one you probably know ! the gearbox, the pedal box and the electric windows, as you can see the box and windows have been done, the pedal box has been done by vw, I have no paperwork for this but you can ring vw with the reg number and they will confirm.

bad bits......

a couple of age related chips in the paint, nothing serious, the wheels are corroding (as all rxII's do !!) and that's about it !

lookin for about £1750 or swap

Yeah got a box full stock suspension rear wiper and motor got standard 14s aswell

ok kwl do u knw anyone with a odbII scan tool to find out why the emgine managment light is on?

I don't I could get it into a garage to check if I get some spare time that has been purely the only reason it's not been done

Nah I don't think it has well not since I have owned it bud the garage that I got it from did a check and got the light off 5 months ago but it came back on

haha well its going into the garage tomorrow country road put a lovely hole in my manifold so ill be getting that fixed and get them to have a look at that too and would you be okay with getting the stock suspenion in a box? or would you want it fitting

They deffos are filthy cheap! I'm sure we will be able to do something bud if your serious about a swap was only gonna ask for something up to 200 purely just to cover the number plate change if you get me

well ye I'm up for the swap but surely the u could sell the audi 16" alloys for at least 150 to cover costs as id want the car as standard as possible and i guess you are prob guna keep the splits on the gti anyways
