MK3 Polo 1.0

Featured Replies

Make: VW

Model: Polo breadvan 1043cc

Year/Reg: H reg

Mileage: <100k

MOT: March-ish

Tax: November-ish

Good points: It runs. Its cheap. But its not pretty. It failed its last MOT on the handbrake and wipers which I was very impressed by! Wipers were changed and rear brake were cleaned. Head gasket was changed a few K's ago, petrol tank was replaced last year along with the battery.

Bad points: Right.. Its had a tough couple of months which have involved break-ins and casual random vandalism. It was broken in to and had the drivers window smashed a few months back after the lock had been bust and the door frame had been bent, so itll need a new drivers door. The passenger door was backed in to before i bought it, so its a different shade of blue but works as a door should. Then a few nights ago someone decided to smash the rear windscreen and crack the front windscreen for no apparent reason. All of this despite the fact there was never anything to steal inside it. Overall it looks a bit of a state, but it shouldnt cost much to fix up (one door, a boot lid/screen, and front windscreen) if someone needs a cheap runaround. I'm disillusioned by the whole scenario so just want to get shot of it as I dont use it enough to warrant repairing it.

Location: Southampton, SO15. I bet you were expecting me to say Croyden or something..

Pictures: If you want them I'm sure I could get some. Its navy blue (similar to marine blue but I cant remember the actual name) but passenger door is a much paler blue. Apart from that its a standard mk3 Polo.

Price: Its still got T&T so a ballpark figure of £100 ONO. Make me an offer, I'll likely accept it..

Contact details: PM Here or email neilthompson_@hotmail.co.uk (thats neilthompsonUNDERSCORE@hotmail.co.uk

If anyone has parts to donate to get her back on the road i will gladly accept them, as its been passed down through a few generations and its quite depressing seeing her in this state! Plus I've recently been made redundant so I cant really justify spending cash one something that may just get trashed again!

Thanks for reading :-)
