My mk2 Bready '86

Featured Replies

i'm sure its mars red, looks exactly like mine so it must be!

I'd say cream for the wheels, or something nice and retro anyway. Or silver if you're going for the standard look.

Right quite a big update today, haven't been on here in a while. The mk2 is now lowered 70mm all round and the wheels are now white! (my mate thought it would be funny to spray them metallic gold so after that i had to spray them with whatever paint i had - white.)

Also, a little addition that i think is cool looking - a mk3 splitter! cut it to look like a chin spoiler because it wouldnt bend very well

And finally (with no picture) i fit a straight pipe to the weirdly created exhaust that someone had bodged together, now it sounds awesome! pops on decelleration and also bangs and flames!

What do you all think?

looks pretty awesome mate! i think some alleycats would look awesome on it

The splitter is from a mk3 golf, I cut the corners off to make it look more like a little chin spoiler

Yeah I think alleycats would be good, I'm keeping the stwelies until my mate gets new wheels for his nova, then I'm getting his old ones, cav expressions but 14inch rather than 15

this weekend I'm getting a wrap around spoiler and cig lighter :D

Leave her as she is, you've got a bloody looker there!

When I read you were going to lower it I was dead against it on an original car like this but it looks so so good. Exterior-wise i'd say it's finished!

Cheers mate :) I'm not happy with the rear though so I tgibk the spoiler will touch it up a bit, then I'm just going to weld up the rusty parts and she's finished and needs a name, I'm thinking Becky lol

right picked up the spoiler today and got assaulted by a biker on the way home - http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?...p;#entry2156254

Steering wheel boss kit also arrived today :) will get pics up of stuff tomorrow.

Is it just me or does the drivers side of the front bumper hang lower than the passenger side?

These early rangers are the best. :) I had a white one with the black interior. It's my favourite interior of all polos.
