Not being cheeky but how much did the 4 wheel alignment cost?

alignment was about 60ish but its worth it if your thinking about getting it done because they are the only place that do it for lowered cars, really good job too!

Hm, I was quoted stupid money. Around £80-120. I need it done though, car pulls to the left really badly. On the other hand, I'm liking the progress :).

Ok so I got a delivery yesterday of my new wheels, but only 3 came! bought them off Sonny1day on here, TOPBOY! he has helped a lot ringing up loads and letting me know whats happening, basically 3 went to one depo (the 3 i got delivered on time) and 1 went to another depo by error, but said it should still be delivered today at some point (this was yesterday) waited about, nothing, Sonny rang them this morning at half 8 to see what was going on, got messed about it then managed to get through to someone, they said that the driver had attempted delivery at 8:45 this morning and no one was in! This is bullshit as my car was outside, mums was on the drive and she was working from home today and could see the gate! plus there was no delivery note left! so it now can't be delivered till monday! FUCK YOU DELIVERY GUYS!!! Cheers Sonny for all your help though mate! lets hope it turns up on monday

Yea fingers crossed! Looking forward too this so much man. Even more after that cheeky little snap you sent me!

Update 19th June

I received my 4th wheel through the post yesterday, after a massive balls up from the delivery company haha so that was a relief!

bought myself some areo blades from ebay for like £5 so was stoked on them

IMG_1874.jpg

And while i was on ebay i had a look for a drivers side mirror, because i smashed mine ages ago and hadn't found a replacement anywhere! so got that too

IMG_1875.jpg

Only had 5mm left at the front on my coilovers so thought why not... so wound it all the way down, now i need a chassis notch pretty bad, so hopefully getting that done soon!

Bought Sonny's Borbet Ts 14x7 et 24 running 155/55/14 and 14x8 et 14 running 175/50/14 pretty sweet, love them need some work though because they scrub a bit haha,

So i started the day off like anyone should!

IMG_1922.jpg

Took my bbs off and had a quick look at the inside of the arch, and found this...

IMG_1925.jpg

I put them on at the height i was running my 6.5j bbs's at and it looked ok, so i drove to the gym, but i forgot that it needed to settle!!! got there and they looked like this!

IMG_1892.jpg

Thanks man, yeh it sucks but took my spare wheel out today so that saves a bit of weight and getting my arches rolled tomorrow hopefully so that will help a little bit too, then i just need to figure out how to camber them so i can stay low with no tyre problems at all haha

Looks bad ass! love it on them wheels. colours go together so well. :D

you going to Gti International on the weekend ?

you going to Gti International on the weekend ?

Yeh man going to head up on Saturday I recon :D you going?

yeah on sunday i reckon meant to be raining on sunday though

Cambering is easy. Do your arches first, don't run camber for the sakes of it, the fitment is almost spot on, you'd only need camber if they were wider. :)

Another Update

Bad News first!

Found another BOOBOO!!!

IMG_1936-1.jpg

Need to get this sorted out as its service and mot time soon! does it fail with this?

Now for the GOOD NEWS

Cars LOW! HAHA

IMG_1937-1.jpg

another standard one, going to do a little shoot with it soon, nothing serious yet though as i want to do that when all the bumpers and stuff are smoothed!

IMG_1949-2.jpg

Took a trip to town (about a 5 minute drive) and the rear arched were so hot and sticky with rubber..... whoops :p

IMG_1938-2.jpg

So arch rolling started to happen yesterday..

IMG_1953.jpg

this was what it looked like before even though its the left one

IMG_1956-1.jpg

and this is what the rear right looks like now :D:D:D:D

IMG_1957-1.jpg

Anyone know how to roll the final bit right next to rear bumper? its double skinned and so hard to do!!! Didn't have time to do the rear left one so that will be done soon but I'm away all next week in Scotland on a job so it will have to be the week after!

Looking forward to playing with the rear coilies to get the stance perfect!!!

Comments welcome :D

started to roll my arches yesterday only managed to get the rear right done but i couldn't get the last bit out, the bit where the rear arch meets the bumper because its double skinned, any idea you know how to get this out?

but yeh then going to start playing with stance :D

I had to cut my rear arch lining out as its double skinned, will be very hard with an arch roller i would think, just take your time or crack out a hammer :p
