Do you have car insurance right now..?

If you do phone them and tell them exactly what you're going to do.

Then depending if they cover car modifacations,they will tell you a

price they want to add to your insurance...it's that easy.

You need to call then and disclose the modification. Nobody apart from your insurer can answer the 'how much will it cost' question.
