Hi been around for some time and always had the intention of doing a build thread but just never have got round to doing it . But because mainly iv have been lazy and have been doing bits to the car :)

I started off with my first polo whitch did not have much luck with as it was my first well the usal gearbox went it was coverd in rust and in the snow some chavs decided to kick the side in so i cut my loss and sell it to a good home.

After a bit of saving i snapped up the polo i am driving now its a 1998 16v with only 57000 on the tickers and decided i would take care of this one:)

As it was a 6n it was coverd in scratches and bits of rust so finaly decided to get it sprayed by some top blokes around where i live called auto body solutions who sorted me out and had the car looking fresh in no time

Got myself some cheep lows for the mean time and had the banta of finding a place that would track my car

also got some borbet ts and fitted some 195/45/14 toyos after fitting them on the car was not too keen and sold them soon after

so was soon looking for some new wheels :)

came across some g60 bandded steels on ebay so got them

15x8j

15x7j and put some 185/45/15 nangangs

and did not a such a good job on spraying them satin black

Needing more lows but the wheels were rubbing on the arches so some camber shims :)

As well as gttin the arches rolled back down at the body shop also this time was going to get some stuff smoothed.

front bumper top little grills

sill jacking point arrows

also had the g60s powder coated creme

headlinning

i have also got a winter beast ugly mk3 golf i will hopfully be drivin this in te winter when the polo is undergiung some changes and to save some money :) so will get a pic of that shit box up

Also been making an oil catch tank

dilled and tapped the hole for the drain plug and turned the plug up :)

welded up just need to drill and make the in a out puts :)

thanks :) the headlinning is coverd in black swade but i have sprayed my golf headlinning spraying it comes out better as you dont have to put up with it sagging

Thanks dude :) I'm a welding teaching assistant at a college one of the guys i work with helped me out and done most of it but it came out ok as i only usaly tig steel :)

After wating for a copple of week was soo exsited to get the car back so a little trip down to havair to get it back was in order :)

couldent be happier with what geoff and the guys at havir have done with my car

As it got it back on the wednesday i decided to go to players on the sunday and parked up with the guys from havair bunch of top guys and some Inspirational cars
