The time is near....I'm 17 on 12th october and I'm starting to look for a car, because I'm a ford man (sorry lol) I'm wanting a Mk1 Fiesta but I love the little polos so i would consider one, but nothing above a Mk3 :) it will need insuring and i was wondering who you guys have been with for the cheapest at 17 and could maybe recomend a company?

Try Tesco they was the cheapest for me at 17/18 with £1800 for 1.0 and £2000 for 1.3...

I'll be 19 in a few weeks so hopefully go down another big again :)

But it depends on your location a lot too..

Check out the 'insure the box' type products.. seem to be good for new drivers..

Admiral Mulitcar if you can get one of your parents on board. My insurance is stupidly cheap with them, and has been since I passed my test.
