car chase

Featured Replies

About year ago me and a mate were dropping a car off in the middle of the night, i was following him in my car. As we headed towards a roundabout a corsa and a zaffira GSI pull out and my mate decides to race the corsa down the duely whilst me and the zaffira kept up with them at a distance. At the next round about the exit they both took changed from two lanes to one, ofcourse neither of them were willing to back down and as my mate had the inside, the corsa was forced to go up the curb at 40-50mph. He stopped infront of my mate blocking the road and as the zafira and i pulled up, the driver of the corsa jumped out of the car, which turned out to be a big bald bloke proceded to start shouting and wave his arms around at him, he then threw his fosters can at my mates windscreen and tried dragging him out of the car. We both sped off, with the corsa chasing him and the zaf chasing me, we both managed to get away (which is quite suprising since i was in a shitty 318is e36!).

I was happily cruising in a mustang down an empty river once, and there was a bunch of muggy bastards chasing me with blue flashy lights. Then a helicopter came out of the blue, so I pressed the button that said "go baby go" and quickly dispatched them all untill I hit traffic and was forced to jump the old beater over 50 parked cars to save my brother from being squashed by an English gangster.

^^ true story, seen it with my own two eyes on TV.

 at first I thought he was on about Need For Speed then I realised it might be a film :)

I was on the way back from a friends house with another friend in the car. On approach to a roundabout a gaffa taped mondeo had stalled at the entrance so i overtook him and proceeded thinking that was a fine thing to do, BUT OH NO he was right up my arse with his wife and son in the car shouting at me so i did the natural thing. Wheel span off down the motorway flying the V out of the window. He then proceeded to follow me down the motorway dodging traffic to get behind me. At first my mate didnt think he was so i waited till the last minute to come off at a junction right at the point of the chicane and then he cut straight across it narrowly missing the barrier which is when my friend realised he was obvioulsy followng us. Every time we stopped at lights i wouldnt indicate to try and stop him and his son kept getting out of the car attmepting to kick mine and smash my windows so i ended up running two red lights as it was getting pretty serious now as his son held up a baseball bat. We thought out best bet was to pull into a police station we knew was nearby so we did and i got out and so did his son and i went " f*** off what are you actually going to do now" and with that he headbutted me and went to pull the bat on me when we both got bundled by officers and handcuffed even though i'd done fuck all wrong. Never passing a mondeo again!!! POS cars.

This is why i love this thread. Hope you was alright after the headbutt, What did the police say?

we both got bundled by officers and handcuffed even though i'd done fuck all wrong.

Wheel span off

flying the V out of the window.

i ended up running two red lights

Technically wrong but if an officer saw you do them because you were being chased they would probably leave it.

i went " f*** off what are you actually going to do now"

That's wrong regardless.

Haha! Good effort!

Me and3 friends got rammed of the road by a bloke in a spanking new transit at about 1 in the morning. Seems he thought some one overtaking him in a 60 going 20 all over the road wasn't reasonable.

He drove off leaving us in a hedge.

Next days was informed by a copper friend that a bloke matching the description got pulled 10 miles down the road with; No License,Tax, Insurance whilst pissed with enough coke in the back of the van to get him 5 years. Karma I do believe.

About threee years ago me and a few mates when to the horse racing and on the way home we had to go down loads off tight, twisty country roads. We went round a sharp corner quite close to the entrance to find i bloke parked up in the middle off the road so a few off my mates hang out off the window and shout 'the road isnt a fucking carpark' and we drove off. before i knew it this bloke was right up our ass but the roads where to tight to speed off so i took a turing at the last minute which went down a sharp hill. as i went down there i tried to pull to one side and stop the car but the bloke carried on at full sspeed and drove in to the back off us and then tried to drive off. so we all hopped out (car full off 6ft + lad) case the car up the road and surrounded him... needless to say the bloke gave up and my car was fixed curtasy off his insurance company

Apart from all the traffic offenses id hadnt done anything :p hahaha Yer the headbutt wasn't too bad really. I was more in awe that the guy was stupid enough to do it in the forecourt of a Police station haha

"Thats wrong regardless"

What do you mean ?

The police didnt say much apart from i shouldnt of "cut him up" and he shouldnt of chased me.. But he got let off either way but I'm glad i went there otherwise i think id be alot worse off now.

i was driving down a slight hill in my '65 vw pick up, and because i was doing the speed limit down the hill (plus traffic lights at the bottom) she decided to overtake me.. and it wasn't the safest of moves. next set of lights went red, me behind her and she was in a convertable, so i shouted out the window "nice fucking driving!" or something similar, the husband in the passanger seat turns and looks at me in pure hate, so i decided to carry on, and starting clapping at her amazing driving, just to annoy them. and she said something, so i threatened to chuck my milkshake in there car and ruin the seats, so they shut up.. (there was no way i was wasting my milkshake) then i copied her laugh because it sounded like a witches cackle. me and my sister were just wetting ourselves laughing.

people often try to cut me up on roundabouts when I'm driving it, because i do stick to the speed limit, and road's are shit here too, it annoys them for some reason. but they dont expect it to pull away as quick as it does. and they always end up slamming the brakes on because they cant get passed. assholes

I think we know who the asshole is..

I know, not really reasonable behaviour.

They deserved the milkshake, if you ask me.

I get it all the time, just because i'm keeping my distance adequately from the vehicle in front or winding down for a red light, some assholes like that tit wanna overtake me - only to find they can't go anywhere once they have done, but stop right in front of me.

Then i'm sat behind them for the next several miles, and the whole journey consists of them looking at me in the mirror whenever we're slow enough for me to see this, and they'll be driving like they're pressured into trying to overtake the massive line of traffic in front. Brake lights flickering almost constantly for miles, when i've not had to use mine at all.

It's merely a representation of the spoilt-brat culture we live in today. People are so impatient, and some can't stand being left behind.

I don't mind though, i'm happy when they go past - i much prefer these prats in front of me where i can distance myself from them, than behind and on my arse.

This; if you don't have a deadline to be somewhere you might as well chill out. If I'm behind a truck or someone else doing say 40 and I've not got to be somewhere by a certain time I'll just follow behind and relax for a bit.

On a dual carriageway, for example, I tend to come off the accelerator say, a couple of hundred yards before a roundabout, this is more fuel efficient and saves me wearing my brakes out. Yet for most people who are clearly in such a rush, this isn't good enough, they have to overtake in the fast lane, then move back into the left hand lane and slam on their brakes to slow down for the roundabout. Once we've both passed the roundabout we both accelerate and they take ages to gain any speed yet they're happy to cane it onto roundabouts. I end up overtaking and the same thing happens at the next roundabout.

if people dont tell them how they're driving, then how will they learn (and no, I'm not the best driver in the world), two wrong dont make a right etc, but hey, i didnt say it in an aggressive manner, and she shouldnt of been over taking 200/300 yards from a busy cross junction..
