2001 Lupo Sport

Featured Replies

The The time has come to sell my much loved lupo and move on to something a bit bigger.

The car is a 2001 (Y) Lupo Sport 16v with only 69000 miles on the clock, which will rise slightly as still in daily use. I have owned the car for just over 2 years and it has been a great little car. It has had everything replaced that has been needed, which wasn’t a great deal to be honest. Before I bought I paid for a full HPI check, everything came back clear (can send pictures of this on request). There are old MOT’s back to 2005, with only 2 previous owners.

The current MOT is valid until June 2012, as is the tax. I have both keys for the car.

Engine:

· 1.4 16v 100bhp (AUB)

· 68000 miles

· New coil pack and HT leads last year

· Serviced regularly (last done in May 2011 before MOT)

· Cambelt changed in May 2009 (53000 miles)

· No crunching from gearbox

· Pulls very well and is really nippy

· Full service history up to 54000 miles (when I bought it)

·

Exterior

· Black in colour

· Paintwork in genereally good condition

· Very good shine as can be seen in the photos

· Roof painted under corrosion warranty by VW in May 2011

· Stubby roof aerial

· Factory fitted spoiler

· Seat Leon Cupra front splitter

· VW accessory mud flaps (rear only)

Interior (pics will be added shortly)

· Red ‘Tim Tom’ seats and door cards

· All in good condition no burns or rips

· More desirable black plastics rather than gray

· Electric windows and mirrors

· Non smoker/No pets

· Alpine full Ipod control stereo, with standard speakers

· Never used space saver and tools in the boot

Suspension/Wheels

· Lowered on TA technics coilovers

· 15x7 Borbet A’s with 1000mile old 165/50 Bridgestone Potenzas

· Will come with 10mm spacers for rear

· New locking wheel nuts and bolts (May 2011)

· Centre cap removal tool

Bad Bits

· There are a few car park dints, as to be expected for a 10 year old car

· Small scuffs on either side of the bumper, cant really notice it unless close inspection

· Both front arches have little dints from car doors/trolleys

· Bonnet has a scratch about 30cm long but has been touched up and looks ok

· Front bumper/bonnet is stone chipped

· Cracked front foglight

· Passenger headlight is tarnished

· Windscreen replaced this winter due to stone cracking it (no damage around the screen at all)

The car has never let me down and if anything has ever needed replacing it has been replaced.

I have the original alloys with 4 good tyres on them to go with the car (I used them over winter), 2 of the tyres were replaced last year and have done very few miles. These will be sold with the car.

If there are any questions please contact me on 07411606897, if I don’t answer please leave a message/text and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I have probably missed loads out!

This really is a great little car and i will be very sad to see it go, if I could I would keep it!

I am after only after a cash sale, as I have bought a golf. I am willing to remove the Borbet’s to make a deal, but they will not be sold before the car has sold. (Private plate NOT included)
