Whats the difference between 6N and 6N2 polo suspension?

As per title peeps. I have a 6n will 6n2 suspension fit? :)

No, 6N2 has different rear suspension. Fronts are the same if I remember correctly :p

Thanks! What's the exact difference do you know? ( i used the search function but all it brought up was pages of coilover questions :roll: )

Thats the point of the search, you look through them!! This exact question has been covered in every single coilover topic to do with the 6n2!!

But to answer your question the 6n2 top mount has a larger diameter, so the spring has a larger diameter to suit compared to that of the 6n main spring. The strut itself remains identical. The only difference being the top spring.

IIRC the 6n2 front suspension changed from the 6n to improve ride and handling.

Thats the point of the search, you look through them!! This exact question has been covered in every single coilover topic to do with the 6n2!!

My apologies, i had scanned through them quickly but couldn't find the exact answer i was looking for hence my thread. i will look more in depth next time :) I currently have coilovers but want to bin them, (i'm getting too old lol) a friend of mine has offered me some standard 6n2 suspension for nowt so was trying to see if i could make them fit my 99 6N. Thanks for the help :thumbsup:

Yes mate. The fron shocks will fit aswell, you will just have to buy 6n springs.
