Hello all! been abit slack with the camera recently

the mk2s outta the way now so time to crack on with the new edition 3rd time lucky aye

so few pics of the new coupe on its 4x4 stance :(

painted all the badges and grill up and put a badge on the grill and a set of clear indys so far since i got it.

Got a golf elbow set up ready to go on with a bmc style filter...

Paint a rad fan cowling and fan (going to have to paint mine as its a 2 speed one )

painted the hubs and legs and i also chopped a coil off my springs [censored strop]

Painted steering arms..

6N top caps (gets rid of the gap between the cap and chassis evan after new top mounts)

painted a 5 speed mount ready for the nylon mount..

Hopefully ill get the suspension fitted along with polybushed tca's and gladder blocks and also paint few other bits :)

that is all for now :)

Got the rear suspension fitted over the weekend to find this...

the passenger side spring was shorter which lead me to think one got chopped and the other did,nt by some idiot

so i carrierd on and went to put the new suspension on but it felt like it would not sit in the seat right so i took a look up in the turrut to find the other bit of the spring that was missing

must of callasped at some point in the previous year or so as it was rusted the fuck!

To be fair i did,nt notice when driving it

had this on a couple of my mk3s I've owned. seems a pretty common problem with them. esp the rear ones

1st one i had,i think its been through m.o.t like that aswell

i try not to although the suspension took 3 days to do

going to clean up all the GT parts and the engine etc get it painted up ,the inlet posrts look fucked as its bin sat around a while!

ill get some pics up of the ports hopefully i can clean the up fingers crossed

will do ,i aint fitted them yet but 10pin on here uses them on his g40 :)

Just a picture my mate took on his iphone bare in mind theres a engine in the boot so the backs not as low

i have been thinking that max,I'm abit pissed off with the engine really as i thought i was just going to be able to drop it in plug and play turns out the ports are SKANKED!

maybe a p/x and cash your ways give you another head to clean up
