Fitted the 6n top caps today nice differance and gets rid of the gap

Guna try clean them up ,i did one port with petrol seems brand new again :)

So... after having loved the coupe S seats for comfort and looks i kept them but both cables were snapped in them tho.

so i decided to fix the cables.

Took the skanky cl seats out and whipped the covers off for the cables :)

there going to the dump asap

took alot more care getting the coupe S covers off

then noticed this........

sticker was on both cope S seats but was,nt on the cl spec seats ,so I'm guessing recaro made the higher spec polo seats?

there not as grubby as they look picture does,nt doit any favours

will get some more pictures sometime as there now fitted back ones also!

Cleaning the ports a little bit each day,coming on well

also paint part of the block to test the paint looks sweet,ordered silver for the GT box aswell

and picked up a renault clio 16v splitter :)

Bin Cleaning up my GT Throttle bodie took a fair bit of time but it looks Mint!

Also cut a new throttle bodie gasket :)

cleaned all the crao off it which took hours :( then paint in bright satin silver :)

Gt engines cleaned up ready to go just need a clutch and the back water tube

sprayed bumpers ,New steals sprayed,g60 centres with nut covers if I'm correct and got a splitter to..

Got a gt arch kit waiting to go on soon too ,thats all for now

front bumper looks like its a bit low? looking good up to press, good work on the throttle body aswell!!

Splitter looks poo pants but i love the rest of the work.

Calypso green is the best colour..... but i would say that :-)

Pretty dang sure it is LA6Z should be written on a sticker in the boot. Mine is more silver too. If it isn't calypso i don't know what it is.

great work on the gearbox and throttle body. what were you using to polish up the tb ?

coulor code stickers too faded i cant make it out, as for cleaning the throttle bodie spent hours on the outside with a fine dremal tool and wire wool worked a treat :) looks brand new inside and out :)

I never realised the gearboxes were so small. Also agreed with Jordan on the splitter, it just looks like there is too much bumper on the front.

So much hate for the splitters

I'm hoping when the arch kit etcs on it will evan it out abit

if not splitters coming off as it scrapes 'EVERYTHING'

I reckon that you should colour code the strips around the bumpers.
