1. mint green

Anyway update time!

R.I.P SPI 1.3 lump

So the GT conversion will be starting within a week Tops!

got a clutch and fitted it along with the gearbox,starter

Also finelly made the backbox tube a 2inch (has made no differance to noise what so ever)

Anyway here it is

Wrong, look at demolovers both his and mine are calypso and are nothing like this..... its a more silver colour calypso.

This is the same colour (looks to be) as the PPP bready.... I'm sure thats a rarer colour.

coulours really anoying me coz i do need some paint for it but no one has a 100% definate coulour and code :(

As for updates, Gt lumps in,all pipeworks connected,just awaiting full engine bay loom seems i dint have it all and nuffin matched up i had around 7 plugs left over

hopefully my loom arrives tommorow and the rain holds off,miss having a running car

Difficult to tell in photos though, as metallic mint tends to fade to a similar shade to Callipso Green. But then Callipso Green tends to fade and end up looking more silver!

Tbh mate i haven't bin arsed with this thread recently but it will all be cleaned up before pics taken of course,looks pritty shit as the loom has no loom tape on so just looks like a maze of wires,will retape it all when its running sweet

that splitters coming off asap,its a little to big for be tbh might look into somethinf really small possibly a 6n one..

Fter a nice friends sold me a duff GT engine which was seized solid!! I'm am forced to Break as cannot aford to pour anymore money into this.

Should have kept the spi lump and thrown that back in mate, I would have helped you do the head gasket, only taken a couple hours if that to change it.

Haha sorry man, only thought about it today. You could have the engine out of my mk1 for a ton if you want? Is carb so piece of piss to fit and tis a good engine.

Omi days man thats awsome :) i really want a mk1 but its finding a decent one thats not a stupid price!!!

Haha cheers dude, its fairly good, needs bodywork sorting but that'll happen when I've got the cash for a respray. Aye they ain't cheap, this one cost me abit but I did want coilies and wheels on it before it was put on the road.

It's totally worth it though

Just need to get the bits off you and the GT is pretty much ready to drop in it aswell :)
