So i've been driving for about a month now and i absolutely love my car, i have already dewipered it, fitted coilovers, Uprated my front speakers, debadged the rear.

My future plans so far are:

GTI Splitter

Wire my sub in

Install a headunit

GTI Xenons

Get Some alloys

Nice small start, what alloys you hoping to get on it? Will look a thousand times better once you got the splitter on

i have np idea what alloys to get i thought i wanted teledials but i dont know now, and i know man i just cant get my hands on one :/

i think some polished merc alloys would look quality on this, it looks nice even with just trims!

You can get one from either VW or Ebay. I got mine from Ebay but it was a bit more expensive

I'd love to gt something like that but i dont think i have the money for them at the moment but once i get all of my audio sorted, i'll start saving again

How would i go about getting one from VW, just ringing them up?

Just ring up your nearest vw garage and ask for parts, car looks nice wish mine was black :(

oh yeaah i will probably buy that soon then, is it simple to fit?

+ I've now fitted my alpine headunit and hoping to wire my sub tomorrow, or sometime this week!

A little update...

Installed a new headunit, its an alpine cde-9850Ri

Got myself some of the GTI grille red trim

Also bought a stubby off ebay

Now I'm a bit stuck on what to do before wheels, Any ideas?

Progress has been slow because of low funds and spending money on other things.

Other than spraying my badge and getting a few more stickers i haven't really done much, so heres how shes sitting now..

Still pretty undecided on what wheels to get remembering I've not got a massive amount of money to spend.

No its not the gti as I'm only 17, its the 1.4s

Yea they are, and you just reminded me i think one of the next thing i want to do is install fog lights, does anyone know if you can fit them without having to take the bunper off?

yeah the wiring is just behind the covers so no need to take off bumper

I think the next thing on my list is a GTI splitter, the one selling on ebay is about £75 including postage and i thought it was a bit steep so i asked my friend at VW he said i could get one for £50.

when you de-wipered it, what size 'bung' fitted the hole of where the wiper sat in, i want to do mine, but i dont know what size would cover it?

The grommet i used was from halfords i cant remember the size, but you'll know it when you see it, costs a few quid

EDIT: i found out its 25mm

Not much progress with the car tbh, apart from a few little things like carbon badge inlays, and got it sitting how i wanted it to, also it passed its MOT last week which is also a bonus!
