I'm eyeing up some borbet T deep dish rims which are 16" 9j wrapped in 215/40r16 ET15

I'm just thinking that 9js are rather wide and i might get scrubbing on the fronts when i turn

so has anyone done it before with these size wheels and if so did you have to do any work to the arches and get spacers

I'm also considering getting some 195/40r16s to stretch onto the rims for when i fit my coilovers so i know that will give me more space in the arch

but why waste the good tread thats already on the wheels thats why I'm asking :)

9s would be wayyyy too big for the front anyway too look good IMO

you'd get the 4x4 look... i reckon...

if they were 16x7s they'd fit nicer. thats my thoughts though :)

yeh i thought theyd be too big ideally want 8s on back and 7/7.5 on the front,

I'm at std hight atm but will be going on coilovers soon ideally want 15s but these are cheap on ebay

i couldnt go for 14s although they look awsome on yours 15s would look sweet with stretched tyres

The car is yet to be lowered properly since putting them on Had some fun with my arch roller last night

i had to put 25 mm spacer's on the front to clear my coilover's and I'm gunna need 35mm i think when i lower it more to clear the lock ring's

i run 195/40 its loads of stretch but its needed ahah

Just need to find them 7j rather than 9j

I'm not a fan of stretched tyres and I can imagine yours are rather stretched wrapped in 195/40s lol
