How can you tell if there VWII

They have VWII stamped on instead of VWI :)

If you're as tight as fuck, you don't actually need the brake pads, because VWII pads are the same as VWI pads, but a tiny bit thinner, like if you've used then a couple of times.

What discs? and do you need green stuff pads?

you can go into any motorstore and ask for a set of g40 disks and pads just not halfords as they charge far far to much I'm fair sure you could use the pads already on your car but for even wear id stick to the new ones. if you want green stuff pads ask for em they do them and also drilled and grooved disks and braided brake hoses if you have the money spare

One of the two bolts that hold the caliper on is also longer on the g40's

You may also need carriers if you have the early type (though I'm guessing you don't if they are going in your mk2f coupe)

Bleed nipples are a couple of quid from VW

Can get you part numbers if you need? They come with sexy little rubber hats too haha

i cant get it out of the caliper its stuck in there well
