What company did you get your paint from mate?

I delt with perrys/parrys what ever and ledsons and both times was abit too cream (white primered it also and that was stil creamy)

I'm not sure to be honest wasnt me who got it.. my dads mate got it for me.. he gets discount .. he lives in cheadle so i presume he got it localish from there.. i had some left over but think I've thrown it now.

Cups sold tonight so updates saturday hopefully!

Got a mate coming over after work today so we can find out exactly whats wrong with it, then ill update the thread. Depending on how much there is depends on when I get some new wheels to refurb over the winter!

Reverse light switch (in the gearbox) now soldered and fixed, speedo switch soldered and fixed aswell.

Boot didnt lock either so its been locked then disconnected, list of parts needed:

-ignition switch

-Lock set (so i haven't 2 keys)

-Fit the coilovers then tracking

-temp switch

-headlights

Also i had a proper look today and its been resprayed really badly, put me in such a shit mood that I didnt look over it more carefully. Ill just leave the bodywork til last and get everything sorted mechanically first.

same thing happened to me when i bought one of my polos...it had been resprayed in a non standard colour and with the rub strips on so was fucking gash as fuck =(

My white valver had had a real shit respray it has fingerprints in the paintwork and a few runs here and there. Wish i looked over mine a bit better.

Mines got the same fingerprints all over, I was gunna get a mate to have a go with his DA but i reckon it'd just burnt it off :( You can see a few places around the bodywork where the paint is really thin. Nevermind, Ill just slam the shit out of it! Saves me buying a bonnet bra for the winter! lol...

Yeah dude have a go at spraying. Worse case ou have to pay someone to do it again. Nothing life threatening.

I love cleaning cars though, matt finish wont be for me. Ill buy some candy white paint and do the rear bumper over t'winter :)

Yep that why i haven't took the bump strips off because i bet its minging underneath lol. Mines jyst had like a flash over in the same white but its a awful job, finger prints by the door handles and shit loadsa runs and i think the petrol cap was missed out as its a complete difrent colour

Ordered my 165 50's for the G60's today, should transfer the coilies and stuff over on saturday then get the wheel alignment/tracking done afterwards. Should be on the road by next week!

Not gunna be alot of updates after this weekend though, still trying to justify the amount i spent on the mk3 lolz.

Ill be looking for some wheels to refurb over the winter, something 3 piece would be nice!
