Iv done 800 miles with mine now and all seems well.

I loctited all the bolts in place and paint marked them so can check for movement etc, all seems well.

Nah, you only need to make these have just over half a tooth adjustment each way, you just set the cam 4 teeth out, then use the adjustment on this to take up the fraction of a tooth.

I know this is guna sound silly.. But how comes you need to set these up 4 teeth out? Is it so once tensioned it pulls it round orr? ..Does it need to be advanced or retarded when doing so? :)

Thats only for when fitting a 3F camshaft into a later 8v engine found in the 6N, using one of these verniers.

Maximus, got enough material to make some for an AFH?

What you done to it? :shock:

It pinches up and deforms the slots, so its a pain to adjust everytime, still works and hasnt fallen apart, could just do with being harder so it doesnt deflect due to being soft
