Haha! Would love to cut my teeth learning to weld on that, but it would be far too far down the list of cars to be done. I'm only just about ready to re-commission my Mark2 after some 3 years! Then there's a Mark2 GTi needing attention and an Audi Coupe...

I imagine the spare panel situation for these must be absolutely dire, they were quite unpopular back then so it's make do and mend for most of it I bet. I think you would need to marry it for a good few years to make it something special.

The K70 has to be the most unloved VW of all time. Even VW didn't care much mainly as it was a hangover from the NSU takover. Despite the good engineering, none of it was kept for the Polo/Golf/Passat revolution.

Most definately, but not for the feint hearted! Not sure if it's quite worth the £150, maybe knock the 1 off!

Oh my god, I've just listed where to start in my head. Putting the word about... These things are as rare as your nan giving birth. Seriously big turnover if restored and would be a brilliantl project. Anything is do-able... wow both watercooled and air cooled crowds...
