Hello,

I'm currently running the standard 1.3 AAV SPi engine in my Polo but am considering changing to a 1.4 ABD bottom engine but with a GT cam and GT injection/wiring/ecu...

Has anyone done this with good results? The reason I'm thinking about this is because it seems a simple conversion and I might get a bit more low end power over doing a straight GT conversion.

Would the GT box be a better choice over the stock CL gearbox? I quite like how the existing box feels on the motorway.

Any thoughts?

abd might have a touch more torque but the gt engine higher compression

gt box will make it rev hard on the motorway
