Hello peeps. As title says i wanna put my GT on bike carbs.

WONDERING WHAT PEOPLE HAVE FOUND BEST FOR USING (CARB WISE) been told to avoid suzuki carbs!

you need a manifold made up, carbs (cbr 600 or similar), fuel pump, mk2 dizzy set up, possibly a new throttle cable, choke cable, filters, and to top it all off it'll need setting up on a rolling road. All in expect to be at least 200 quid lighter from start to finish.

Start by posting in the right section too would-be a start

£200? thats abit cheap for a proper setup...

Carbs £40

Manifold £80

Bits and bobs £30

mk2 setup £50

Filters £20

Rolling road £100-200

Thats a rough estimate, and prices are usualy more than that.

Because your asking for advice, not particular items. As suggested use the FAQ, ask for advice in the engine section and then post a list of the things you want.

Well I've gat an engine+parts from my mk2 polo breadvan (i put a mk2 golf engine in it) one off my mates works at awesome GTi so rolling road no probs either.

yeah and people are selling different kits. eg. cbr600 carbs, kawasaki carbs! I'm aft a KIT but if not i need a list to get them seperately. THATS WHY I've POSTED IN THIS SECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not as easy as getting a kit and banging it on.

Do you even know what needs doing? or are you just screaming out BIKE CARBS! because youve seenz it on club polo?

Read ALL the pages in the FAQ and see if you still want to do it.

Once you've digested the FAQ it's then time for a wanted post.

No was looking to do it on my mk2 polo but never got round to it I know its not that easy. NOTHIN EVER IS :-D

don't think there are places that do all in one kits mate...not very well advertised ones anyway!

i reckon you should edit your first post so its a little easier to understand and someone might get back to you

I'll be using CBR 600 carbs on mine when i fit them in the next few weeks, just waiting for some time off work so I can fit them and take them to a RR at the same time

Ah right small world, I'm not a stalker or out but would you of happened to have a black bready back in the day on venoms :) seen your from stretty an its normally full of Shit an no dub heads round there so anythin stands out a mile away lol.

This is the wrong section, this is the items wanted not information.

There is a full FAQ in the engine info section on bike carb conversions (all 25 pages of it with a nice index on page 1) if its info on doing the conversion you want.

So if you would like a WANTED ad then please post a new ad asking for the parts you want (read faq first so you know roughly what you want).
