your car looks cool man, they're a great little project to get started on and i love mine a little bit more every day. ill keep an eye out for your updates.

I started with a red, 1L coup just like this when I was 16. They're a great first car and yours is looking tidy!

Love the wheels, could you tell me how wide they are and what size tyres are on them please?

Cheers

there a staggered set of golf banded steels if i remeber correctly? fronts are 7.5J with 165/65/13's and the rears are 8j with 165/65/13's. I love the colour red. its just a fortune in T-cut and polish to keep it that way

Are Those Jons old wheels?

Looks good, needs more lows though for the wheels to work imo.

Bought them off a guy on Wheel-Whores about a month ago who'd just banded them i think, they where originaly silver.

I've got mk1 golf coilovers on the back and 70mm springs on the front. the backs are sitting perfect now its settled again after being jacked up, just in need of the arches rolling as its starting to scrub and i agree the front needs to go lower.

cheers sam
