lol my olde Leon TDI was amazing for this.(220bhp+, 400ft/lb) Sounded like a proper old truck due to it being on a VE series pump rather than the newer PD's, used to pull up with the digger noises, get some arsewipe in a BMW 328/330ci lok over and start creeping, then I just foot down in 2nd gear and leave them covered in soot haha

I dont really do it in the clio, because people expect it, its more fun when your on the go already and something comes up behind flashing lights etc, then just dust them round the next set of bends lol

This happened to me yesterday with a guy with a brand new Audi TT blasting past with the black shades trying to look all smug as he forced over anyone in the outside lane and then at every junction he had to stop or slow down for us to just pull up alongside he looked a complete idiot

could see his beady eyes in his rear view,i saw confusion in them eyes lol

he did leave me as i said but not by as much as he hoped,hence him hogging his rear view mirror

To answer the OP, its prob because your cars not fast enough to mince most of the cars on the.road, other people just drive fast everywhere and it doesnt matter if its a modified car next to them thy just wanna play the traffic light grand prix.

I rarely give it bastard off the lights as I've got a section 59 and they'll impound my car! Or race cars on the road. I do drive fast at times, no point having a quick car and.not but I use the power on tap for.overtaking and for helping maintain decent.acceleration even when I'm ferrying around gearboxes, engines and.other associated car shite!

Anyway your more likely to get done for dangerous driving if you get caught 'racing' on the public highway! If your just speeding the punishment will be far more lenient!

The amount of people in this thread that blatently think their polo is the fastest thing ever amuses me, a polo will be nowhere near an rs4 or even a 323 no matter how well you think you kept up

I'm well aware a 323 isnt a fast car, but I'm also well aware that neither is 6n2 And well done for you that you can change gear quickly, thats a talent i wish i had which would enable my car to beat stuff with much more horsepower

Try driving a highly modified polo . I used to get this all the time in my old motor.
