How much of a ball ache is it to change the bulbs on a 2008 polo.

I've bought the replacements and tried to fit them and i cannot get them to twist back in!

How much of a ball ache is it to change the bulbs on a 2008 polo.

Easy when you know how...

Pull the caps off

Loosen the screws a little

Twist the black round thing

Bulb and lead should come out (Take note of the way the bulb came out! - If you don't remember look at your other one!)

Replace bulb (remembering not to touch the actual bulb! - A fingerprint smudge is enough to cause the bulb to blow prematurely due to moist!)

Put the bulb back in the same way it came out

Twist the black thing in the other direction

Tighten the screws.

Or if your partly lazy don't bother with the screw thing and force it open like I done the first time round.

Now they just simply click to lock and click to unlock.

Also I'd recommend some proper Osram bulbs, they make a difference over the budget trash!

Thanks for the advice.

I managed to get the bulbs fitted last night before i lost the light thank god.

I've fitted Philips x-tremes extreme +80% which i've used before which seem to be brighter tan the standards but i will remember the Osram's for next time.
