You'll get £50 scrap (thats what i got recently for a written of bread van) so its barely worth it, unless you are totally skint e.g living off chicken bin cuisine and dog end rollies. £500 has to be better than that?

It is taxed till end of Feb and has been since I put it up for sale at beginning of September.

It is still registered as a 1043 on the logbook, it'd be up to the buyer to change it if they wanted to.

It was mot'd last week so has now got 12 months mot and a months tax.

If anyone is interested in my Polo, i am going to have to surrender the tax disc because it isn't insured.

I didn't realise that its now law that you can't have a vehicle taxed but not insured, even if it is parked up.

I left the tax on it so that if someone wanted to buy it, they could insure it and drive it away.

I will be sending the tax disc back on Monday morning so if anyone wants to buy it and drive it away with tax on it, it'll have to be this weekend.

It sucks about the tax, I found this out too recently. You also have to redeclare sorn if you buy the car that's sorned and don't tax it right away.

Now taxed again for another 6 months.

Just had the head gasket done as well, it had an oil leak which we thought was from the camshaft oil seal but turned out to be the headgasket, so this has now been fixed.
