bought the other month will couple of problems

firstly wouldn't start after surviving a ride in the boot of my polo

no back brake

front brake holder snapped

and looking quite dirty

got a compression test which read >20psi (should be aroun 90-100)

and so needed top end rebuild

finally got round to changing piston, the rings and flushed the oil

finally got the bike running today got quite a shock when put it in 1st gear though as the previous owner had the throttle slider basically half open so the bike kept wanting to wheelie

also realised the back wheel is too small as the stand doesn't work

need to do:

back brake pipe

front brake clamp thingy

magnetic sump plug

maybe new graphic and plastics

new clutch and fly wheel covers

10/12 rear wheel

Built a couple of pit bikes over the years, such a good crack! So cheap and easy to maintain too so it don't matter if you throw it down the road.

Unfortunately both got pinched out my back garden so just gave up with them!

Cool, I bought one a while ago not working and I had it running and riding it in half an hour

They are dam fun to ride, even if you are 6'6 and barely fit on

yeah they are a laugh

managed to come of it the other day whilst bump starting it

got to admit i was surprised y just how easy they are to work on, i hadn't fixed any motorbikes before and was using this as a intro to bikes and its been soo easy to work on

was meant to sell it on but thinking of keeping it now and slowly convincing my mates to get one lol

didn't you have chains or anything on them gaz?

my thumpstar i raced for a while, was running a rotary kit and gasflowed and ported head, was fairly rapided. Did look at getting a Made2Race 140 for this winter but dont think ill be able to afford it
