MK2f / 3 Strut brace

Featured Replies

Well I have a brace left over from a batch I did before I left ireland.

The rear strut brace, fits in between the strut towers.and bolts to the shocks to hold it in place.

You Wont need to modify your parcel shelf to fit it, just undo the nuts on the shock fit an extra M10 washer each side and bolt back up happy days.

This is how mine is fitted and has worked well.

Looks good, painted hammerite black. few runs but its painted so wont rust.

alright I'm interested mate, never fitted a rear brace before. Can it be put in while still having the rear bench in place?

or is it one or the other?

yes, it will fit with the rear bench unharmed, no need to cut the parcel supports or anything. simply undo the nuts from the rear shocks, fit brace, add washer and re fit nut and tighten accordingly, job done, stiff rear end! :D
