EDIT! This is up for sale again!

Lost interest in selling it, so put it on the road again until the tax ran out at the end of January this year. Used it when we had the snow and it never missed a beat. Given it a quick wash this morning, new pics at the bottom of this ad!

Put the battery back in this morning and it started up first time! Ran it up to temperature and it sat at 90 degrees. Not been able to take it for a run because of no tax/insurance.

Not had this long, but a change in my circumstances means it is regrettably up for sale. Get so many looks driving this car! Will be sad to see it go!

Good points:

Lowered on a TA Technix kit (80/60 i think)

TA Technix stainless manifold/powerflow exhaust

MK2 Hockenheim wheels on Nankang 165/55 tyres on, loads of tread on all

New alternator (oct 2011)

Various GT interior bits (Clocks, steering wheel, seats)

New fuel tank.

Late spec rear clusters with no reverse light.

Bad points:

Body work is the cars only real let down. Has a number of dents down the o/s, apparently due to a former owner getting a bit carried away with a baseball bat..

Had some decals which have been removed but the outlines of which are still visible on the boot and rear quarters. These may polish out, but to be honest i've not tried.

Not much in terms of rust, just a spot in front of the n/s rear arch and a little around the windscreen

Rear seatbelts are not currently fitted as i've lost the screws for them in the garage somewhere, but will endeavor to find these.

Wipers can be a bit funky to use, need to go up then down to put them on intermittent, but they work all the same.

Almost no service history, but its an honest little car!

Couple of other niggley bits I've just remembered!

Rear door cards dont match (Have matching ones in the garage)

Boot doesn't lock

Starter motor sometimes catches. Never fails to start 1st time though!

Would really love to keep this, but dont have the time I thought I would to give it the attention it deserves :( Used it for a few weeks on my 120 mile commute to work and it never skipped at beat, sat quite happily at 70 on the motorway.
