i have for sale here the 280mm Golf G60 "Lucas 54" brake setup that is needed to convert your 6n or 6n2 polo to 280mm front brakes.

all that is needed as far as i know to complete this setup is:

a set of g60 brake lines

disks and pads

2 x bolts that hold the carriers to the hubs

and if you use the 16v hubs (for 8v owners) you will need 2 new wheel bearings at minimal cost as the originals where shot to pieces so where pressed out.

these have been professionally stripped of corrosion and flaking paint using a sonic bath.

i have then resprayed them using hammerite hammered black and red paints.

The reason that I am selling them is because in the end my polo was sold before i got a chance to get these fitted, so i have not had them fitted.

I'm converting an 8v...i take it you need minimum of 15's for these too?

the price I'm really not sure on when posting as i cant get to the post office and I've not got any scales :S
