Dunno really, Mk2's are commanding some good prices at the minuteI've seen scruffy mk2b breadies do £500-600, so if it's good as it looks, he's got a chance.

Looks good on the outside but it's a poverty spec car and the boot looks scratched to buggery, it makes my cars boot look mint.

Mine was £800 keeping in mind the guy that sold it to me didn't know that the Ranger model was rarer/more desirable (to me anyway) so I think my car could have ended up going for £1000+ if he knew more about it.

Well he's bought and nice original low mileage VW Polo. A little bit pricey, yes. But it doesn't detract that its a nice original car that they have just got themselves. And I'm sure if they were trying to 'jump on the VW Bandwagon' they would have bought a mk2 Golf not Polo. :)

I don't think that's scene tax as such buster, more like lowmileage tax. It seems any fairly old car with low mileage will inevitability end up on the bay and/or cars and classics for sill amounts
