Hi all, I'm H...... Just picked up my 1st polo. I'm actually a mk2 golf nut and currently own a tornando Red model with a 16vG60 going into it pretty soon....but recently came across a mk1 polo that i could'nt say no to. just picked her up tonight but its pretty dark for pics right now so here is a link to the advert in the mean time.......

Still toying over keeping it origional but the more i google pics the more i feel to go euro on it.

I will need a full in and out spray job so keeping my options open on colour as at this stage i could change things up a little. engine wise id love to go for a G40 lump but also working on my 16vg60 atm so got to look at the £££.

Interior wise.....well i haven't thought that far yet.....................

.....Need a tailgate atm though as its pretty shot, so if anyone has a nice one how much :)

Welcome.

looks solid good base for a full resto and strange enough I've never seen a black one might be worth the cash getting her resprayed in the original colour.

get onto the mk1polo forum, best chance of finding parts there

malagared is selling lots of parts that you will most likely need too, including a tailgate :)
