3pc splits, 9j/13 rear and 7.5j/13 front.

Can't go lower on the front and rear atm.

Rear is rubbing on the coilring and fronts knocking drive shafts on the chassis legs.

Got some shorter 350lb lotas springs for the rear.

Running that low on 13s you having CV trouble? I had 2 collapse on me and dont think I was as low as yours

I know, I built the car to go with the classics.

I got the FF splits to go with the new plans!

Only reason they are on is because the classics were bald from camber!

what splitter have you got on? suits the bumper perfectly! been thinking about running a flipped 6n splitter myself

I bought it new as a Clio 126? or somthing like that. But it's got a Skoda badge on the inside.

Sure am boss! Haha, yer I know! Also scrapes on the sump and it's blowwing out the bottom of the manifold because the down pipe twated a manhole cover and bent it back! Rite shiter at the moment.

You see, I think now beinn is realising its not just a notch, to get 1" more its going to be quite abit more work, am I right beinn lol.....

id leave the front at that height, too many issues start to arise for my liking beyond that point so I'm gonna stop at your height i think when i get front coilovers

I've noticed your buying different springs, you got helpers in on the back still? i have mine in and i got mine sitting on the tyre almost and it didnt scrub the suspension i dont think thats with a 195/45/13 on a 13x8 rsl cult, not that i drove it properly at that height mega rake! I've got mk1 golf ta technix rears though i dont know what your setup is

No mate the TA tecnix don't come with helpers in the rear. I'm running 195/45/13 on a 9j and i think iv got somthing like 3.5 of camber! Also the springs are weak, so you get it sitting nice but when you sit in the car it just sits on the tyres. :( Thats why I need shorter and stiffer springs.

Tbh, keeping stock polo turrets would be just as easy with what I've done I imagine. If not easter as I'd imagine the damper may sit lower....

Haha, get that arse end down I guess your in the same boat as me now, how to drop the back a couple of inch without making the wheels go further forward inm the arch as the beam rotates and without bigger notches (for me) in the rear arch area but without adding drop plates that increase track width? I've a solution, gna try it before saying though!

Wooden Split rims anyone...

So last week me and my gf split the front wheels apart and took the tyres off them....

Then one night after work me and a mate tested them on to figure how much work was needed.

After a fair bit of measuring and head scratching I'm getting 20mm machined of the centers!

Also will be buying some camber top mounts and some 165/55s.
