Centers droped of at machine shop on tuesday, have been done today!

Will pop down with my mate at lunch next week and pick them up.

Sweet looking forward to seeing the fronts on properly. Wooden centres are jokes!

Me and ads wandered over and checked out your beast at GTI fest and chatted to you

Centers back from machine shop, wheel mocked up again.

Should look awsome! Well happy with the wheels! Pretty pissed of with the car atm looks so shit, hate looking at it and runs shit!

So this is what iv been up to....

Last update I had 20mm machined of the mounting faces to make the fronts fit.

Mocking up.

All stipped down.

Sand blasted the barrels.

Befor.

After.

Machine polishing the dishes.

Sent all the centers back down the machine shop to have all the extra holes plugged.

When they came back.

Sand blasting.

Prepping centers.

Etch primmed the barrels.

Gloss blacked the barrels.

Some paintwork.

Painted centers.

Building the splits up with my mate.

Tyres fitted.

Went past you and your mate on the way to EE, both looked sick! Was in the turbo mk1 with the mk3 estate that kept going past you over and over because my mate has a woman's bladder haha

So been to lots of shows.. People seem to like the polo. Picked up afew awards which was a surprise, especially yesterday at Prept. I went to leave and was stopped and told I had won somthing! Mad, so this is what I got...

this is a very good looking Mk3 , i would say tho , it def needs original grill with black badge and original orange sides and wing indicators ! . would set the wheels off nicely and i just don't like debadged grills haha :) .

If you didnt know your car was in pvw mag in the EE evert part :) looks so nice mate wish i could get mine to this standard one day :-D

Its a very nice car and I must commend you on you efforts. All it has done for me though is reassure me how 13" wheels are far too small.
