Day 1 of ownership:

Picked it up for an absolute bargain! Only problems are the drivers window dont work (surprise there) and the fuel gauge is shockingly wrong. Quarter of a tank of fuel = nothing? So gotta be careful

First thing i did was wind those coilys down more

Yeah the gap where the VW badge should be at the front, just looks a bit weird without filling it in or not getting a grill. GTi grill would make this look very tidy from the front..

Its been a while. Its been off the road for the last few months due to bald tyres and an awful juddering problem, not to mention the MOT running out. So i figured out the juddering was to be the lambda sensor. So i got that replaced and got some fresh new tyres:

Also painted up the drums satin black.

Give the front arches a good scrub:

Painted the little part of the slatted grill to colour code it with the bonnet:

Give her a good scrub down ready for the MOT:

So, she was all ready for her MOT. And today she flew through with no problems and no advisory's :) So I'm very chuffed to have her back!
