VW Bora 1.9 TDI 115 PD(BHP)

Featured Replies

I need to sell my Bora, its a 1.9TDI 115 bhp,6 Speed

straight to the point needs a Turbo replacement, so if its to much work then read no more haha :)

The Car is running and as far as i am aware there is now damage to the engine.

The reason why I am Not repairing is because I have already spent over £2000 on it to date and have only owned it since june, I can no longer spend any more money because i was going to get rid and get a carbed engine again, so will just loose more money :(

Its and X reg and Car is just shy of 100,000 miles and i Have replaced,

-headgasket, was skimed and crack tested

-New Clutch,

-New Flywheel

-and all components for clutch i.e thrust

-just had a new intercooler

-cv rubbers internal and exernal

Cambelt and water pump was done at 94,000 miles i believe

MOT: is may 2012 but will check for exact date

TAX: 30-11-11

Exterior:

Car is black and is in good condition, shines up lovely when washed, for its age it has a few scratches and minor dinks around the body but nothing bad at all, and sits on 17" audi s3 rims, back tyres are good 4mm tread left but fronts will require changing, alloys are in good condition with minor scuffing.

Car is Tinted proffesionaly all round and looks good

all red rear brake lights

Interior:

very good condition black leather interior with only very minor drivers side bolster wear and isn't noticeable.

only down side to the interior is the centre arm rest, the catch is broken so i have taped the lid closed but still moves up and down as it should.

Bad bits,

obviously the turbo

front tyres

not a great deal of service history, but have recipts of work carried out etc with mot certificate

and i think it had a flow problem in the coolant system but i believed it to be a blockage because the idiot I bought the car off tryed blocking the headgasket with stop leak in expansion tank. I used coolant flush and seemed to sort it but not 100% certain because not long after the turbo went.

Front off side headlight is cloudy, every bora I've seen seems to have this but i have been told it can be cleaned off.

All in all a good car with lots spent on it just need someone else to fix the turbo and will be all good :)

Car will come with new drop links if buyer is going to lower the car :)

I'm gunna ask for £1250 ono due to money spent and with approximate prices of repairs will put it up to approximate value of car.

I will PX for any VW, mk1 golfs or polos or anything considered

located in dorset

regards
