It was removed from a G40 with just over 100k and covered about 20miles in my scirocco

I did start to polish this box but changed my mind and I'm now looking for a 5 speed in an original/used finish... Don't ask hahaha The G40 box is now painted black.

It was very nice in the scirocco.. The gears were much tighter and closer together than my 4 speed. I didn't even have to mod my 4 speed linkage to get all 5 gears. it doesn't feel like its covered 100k.

Mate that's fucking stunning! Kinda makes me wish i'd stuck with mine, mk1 rocco's are probably the best looking car vw ever made imo and your's just ooze's class

I sold it on in the end mate as it was just too much work, the lad I sold it to was talking about using it for parts for a project he had going on. Tbf though that probably was all it was good for due to the massive bodge a previous owner had done on the roof
