Seat Leon Cupra 1.8T

Featured Replies

I'm just putting out a feeler. I have just purchased my stunning Seat Leon Cupra 1.8T and the day after I bought it a family friend announced he was selling his TDI version which is what I was after. If I can get my money back on this I would consider selling it. What can I say, it must be the cleanest unabused Cupra I have seen. It is finished in silver with a full service history including cambelt and water pump change. Last service was at 84k in June 2011. The paintwork is immaculate as is the interior and everything works. The car has:

4 x elec windows

remote central locking with 2 keys

clima-control

6 disk changer

front fog lights

bucket seats

alloy wheels (these are original SEAT Cupra alloys but white, I am not sure if they have been powder coated or if they were originally white)

4 virtually brand new tyres

Fell size spare wheel with all tools

Traction Control, ABS etc..

6 Spd Gearbox

New wiper blades

New heavy duty interior rubber mats

86000 warranted miles

The car has a private plate on it but that belongs to the guy I bought it from and am just waiting for the transfer to go through. The car will have an 02 plate on it.

I will only sell for the right price so I am not trying to palm off a junky, abused car. If I can't get my money back I will be happy to keep it. What I will say just to keep things honest, the engine management light came on today on my way to work. I got a guy out to run a diagnostics check and he diagnosed 2 faults - EGR valve and O2 sensor. The car has already been booked in on Saturday to have both replaced with original parts which carry a 3 year guarantee. Those were the only 2 faults that appeared, the rest of the car came up clean. I will try get some pics up once the rain shoves off and when I have had a chance to give her a bath. I will consider offers in the region of £2500.00 which I think is very reasonable, people are buying trashy ones with over 100k on the clock for this price. Car is in Lanark Scotland (in-between Glasgow & Edinburgh).

BUMP. Will take £2350 - I can't find another in this condition with such comprehensive service history for close to this price. Will make the perfect platform if you want to mod it in any way :-)
